Yes this is only a proposal for a future commercial WSC possible license proposed in the future.
Yes the current sport pilot requirements are in 61.313 (h) and the private pilot wsc are in wsc are in 61.109 (j) both Title 14.

the requirements from this are not accurate for wsc category. Please refer to gpoaccess.gov web site on 61.313 for current information about the wsc class and requirements.

I am a advanced ground instructor. Have completed my test for Light Sport instructor. Do I have to take the FOI test over again even though I needed it for my advanced ground instructor certificate?

I have 362 hr. logged (pilot in command). But I got a felony back in 2000. Could I obtain a sport pilot cert ?

Can I receive all of my ppl instruction in an LSA (to keep the costs down), assuming my instructor is a CFIA not CFIS, and then transition over to a cessna 150 or 172 several hours prior to my check ride to become comfortable with the heavier aircraft and take the check ride in the 150 or 172 ?
